The Czech Union of Judges
Soudcovská unie České republiky (The Czech Union of Judges)
is a professional, non-political, voluntary and consulting organization. It was founded in 1990. It brings together regional branches/groups and individual judges.
The main aim of the Czech Union of Judges is to support and strengthen rule of law and independence of judges as guarantee of human rights and freedoms and function of the judiciary.
The Czech Union of Judges cooperates with judges associations of other countries and international judges associations.
The Czech Union of Judges is an organization that represents judges and judiciary. There is no judicial council in the Czech Republic.
The Czech Union of Judges cooperates with Ministry of Justice, educational organizations and others and represents judiciary in the media.
